"I'm back," said Peterson tagging a "thanks" to @elonmusk, along with an image of Jack Nicholson infamously axing his way through a bathroom door in The Shining.
Musk also took to Twitter Friday to inform the masses Peterson, along with Kathie Griffin, and Babylon Bee were reinstated to the platform.

"Trump decision has not yet been made," said Musk in the post.
The psychologist, best-selling author, collaborator with The Daily Wire, and podcaster, joined Twitter in December 2009 and amassed more than 3.1 million followers to date.
Peterson had a love-hate relationship with the platform over the past year.
In May, he advised his followers he was quitting Twitter, calling it "dangerously insane."
He said the app made his life worse with an "endless flood of vicious insult."
At the time, Peterson was taking heat for his controversial stances, including a post he made in response to a New York Post tweet that included the front cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for 2022 with plus-size model Yumi Nu.
His comments on the post: "Sorry. Not beautiful. And no amount of authoritarian tolerance is going to change that," got Peterson a lot of hate from Twitter users, which prompted his departure from the platform.
He discussed the situation in-depth with his daughter on the Mikhaila Peterson Podcast.

Peterson at the time indicated his staff would be posting on his behalf, but was then later suspended in June for criticizing Umbrella Academy actor, Elliot Page, formerly known as the female actor Ellen Page who transitioned to a man.
In his tweet, Peterson said it was wrong for Page to have her breasts removed by a "criminal physician."
Twitter said Peterson was restricted to "browsing only" for violating its rules against hateful conduct, but would have his account restored if he deleted the tweet.
In an interview between Jordan Peterson and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith released Thursday, Smith said, "@elonmusk taking over Twitter, I think is going to be net positive for humanity."
