A second woman was found suffering life threatening injuries before being transported by air to Royal Columbian Hospital, where she later died of her injuries. The surviving victim, a man, was treated for non-life threatening gunshot wounds by paramedics at the scene..A manhunt ensued for 50-year-old Eric John Shestalo, who police said was “armed and dangerous.”.On Friday the killer’s red Jeep YJ was found east of Chilliwack in the Bridal Falls area..IHIT, in unison with a multitude of specialized law enforcement agencies continued the extensive search for Shestalo until his body was found near Bridal Falls on Sunday..Preliminary findings suggest he killed himself, although an autopsy is pending..Court Services Online reveal Shestalo was scheduled to appear in court on the day of the shooting, only 30 minutes prior to the incident. The hearing is listed as a K-file, meaning it is considered a domestic assault case..“She was the most loving, generous, compassionate & brave human being we have ever known. We will miss her madly but we will never let a murderer put out her bright light or destroy our little boy’s lives,” reads a statement from Culley’s family, that have asked for privacy during their time of grief.
