RE: Ottawa is at war with Alberta, and There’s no “Fair Deal” to be had”.The thing that disappoints me the most though isn’t the Teck Frontier cancellation, but how Kenney continually exposes his negotiating position as all bluff to Ottawa. They know that he’s a federalist and that he probably does not have the spine to threaten real separation, the way the Bloc Quebecois et al used to do. .The Ottawists only need to wait him out and they know he’ll crack. On the one hand, I’d be happy that this opens a door for the Freedom Conservatives to grow their support. But on the other hand, I don’t think Alberta can wait until the next election cycle to do something really meaningful. .Jordan C. Lewans
