Alberta oil and gas

About US$727.6 billion in the Canadian government's share in the oil sands sector is at risk if the federal government moves forward with its net zero plan, according to a fact sheet published by the Canadian Energy Centre on Tuesday.

The fact sheet said the Canadian oil sands sector government take will rise from $29.4 billion in 2022 to $46.7 billion in 2050 in an Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) scenario. It said the Canadian government's take will drop to -$1.6 billion in 2050 if it follows through on net zero.

Questionable Temperature Surface Station Measurements

https://canadafreepress.com/article/questionable-temperature-surface-station-measurements

A recent study finds approximately 96 percent of US temperature Stations used to measure climate change fail to meet what the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) considers to be ‘acceptable’ and uncorrupted placement by its own published standards.

This nation-wide study follows up widespread corruption and heat biases found at NOAA stations in 2009, and the heat-bias distortion is even worse now.

The study, published by The Heartland Institute, was compiled via satellite and in-person survey visits to NOAA weather stations that contribute to the ‘official’ land temperature data in the United States. The research shows that 96% of these stations are corrupted by localized effects of urbanization—producing heat-trapping, or heat-accentuating objects. Placing temperature stations in such locations violates NOAA’s own published standards and strongly undermines the legitimacy and the magnitude of the official consensus on long-term climate warming trends in the United states. 1

There are virtually no data for 70 percent of the Earth’s surface that is oceans. Also, there are practically no data for the 19 percent of land area that are mountains, 20 percent that are desert, 20 percent boreal forest, 20 percent grasslands, and 6 percent tropical rain forest.

So the "Warmists" just have to "Believe" . . .

Why in the world is anyone even listening to and complying with the destructive policies of that fecking Liberal idiot is beyond me ?????

The solution is simple. Alberta separate and forms its own country. Then we nationalize every last thing that Ottawa has their filthy hands on in our province. Also take all of the military bases from them including all the hardware.

CanadianJeff

We don't have to nationalize anything. Quebec set the standard. When a province leaves it takes everything with it, even the military that want to remain complete with whatever hardware they have. All gifts like National Parks are taken back, all infrastructure, all federal property and assets become assets of the new Nation. And the new Nations created from Alberta will be asking compensation for hundreds of billions paid into a Confederation that took far more than it ever gave.

We have so many resources in this country that we could work 2.5 days per week or less, at the exact same standard of living as we currently enjoy, if only we'd remove the unnecessary government sponsored regulatory burden on all aspects of life. Case in point: Target's venture into the Canadian market failed because they had to charge 2x as much for the same items they sell in the States. Regulatory burden amounts to $2 on a $2 item in this country, driving the price to $4.

Climate change is a political agenda, has nothing to do with a better environment https://www.amazon.ca/dp/1637582781/?coliid=I2P74ASJM2GG7E&colid=FAME1Z8SYIFX&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

All of Canada is in danger from Trudeau's plans. Almost any of his plans.

Unless directed, Trudope couldn't plan a bathroom visit. To think he is capable of planning something long after he & his bobbleheads are gone??!!!

Canada and membership in an oppressive Confederation remain the greatest challenge facing all Western Canadians.

If we had any real input or say in Confederation there would be no such actions being taken against us. No more than the current system takes against Eastern industries.

Canada is already Net Zero sinking the worlds carbon but even that isn't enough for elite and wealthy who get credit for being carbon negative while flying around the world. We need politicians who speak for us, after all no one else will.

FreeMan

Climate change is just another in a long line of hoaxes thrust upon us to control us. Just imagine how prosperous Alberta and Canada would be right now without the shackles of a Liberal Government UCP one of the most remarkable industries of our time. Cheap, reliable energy, right from our own back yard, yet, the Liberals have done all they can to disrupt it. I repeat, climate change is a hoax, a scam so damaging that it is destroying mankind, it is not “climate change” that is killing millions, it is the climate change hoax doing that.

Fatso

Let's not forget that Canada's contribution is 2% while China is 29%...
