BC Mounties are hopeful public input might help them learn the identity of a man whose remains were discovered in the early 1990s in a village municipality in Metro Vancouver..While Coquitlam RCMP investigators do not believe the unidentified man met his end in Anmore due to homicide, they’re still anxious to identify the remains in order to provide closure for the man’s relatives..The investigation determined the death likely occurred in the early spring of 1993..Some of the man’s confirmed details include:.• Caucasian,.• Between 25 to 40-years-old,.• Approximately 5’11 (180 cm),.• Brown hair,.• Pronounced jaw..The clothing and other items found with the unidentified man include:.• Navy blue baseball hat with “LORIS AZZARO PARIS” written in silver letters,.• Navy blue bag with beige trim, buckle and “Nikon” printed on camera bag,.• Black high-top Nike running shoe (Size 9.5, regular production basketball style shoe),.• Black T-shirt: The Romantics in Heat Tour,.• Windbreaker jacket (full zipper, black on lower half, green on upper half, and yellow on arms)..There are currently just less than 200 unsolved unidentified human remains cases in BC..Anyone who has information that may help identify this man is asked to contact the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550.
