Premier Scott Moe’s Parents’ Bill of Rights Act passed its second reading, but Moe was not at the vote.The motion received 37 yes votes, with 36 votes coming from Sask Party MLAs and one vote from the Sask United leader Nadine Wilson.There were 11 no votes, all from NDP MLAs.Bill 137 the Parents’ Bill of Rights Act moved immediately to the Committee of the Whole on Bills.It is commonly referred to as the pronoun policy bill. The Moe government is using the notwithstanding clause to pass Bill 137 and protect it from the ongoing court case.
