The CEO of MyPillow, Mike Lindell, was turned back at the US border Tuesday night as he tried to deliver 10,000 pillows to the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa..The avid supporter of former US President Donald Trump did not have the required PCR test, the National Post reported..A government source told the Post Lindell was stopped at the Port Huron-Sarnia border en route for Ottawa to distribute “pillows and Bibles” to convoy protestors..At the same time, a company truck carrying the gifts was stopped at the Ambassador Bridge crossing. The driver also didn’t have the required PCR test..Social media postings about the pillow mission apparently tipped off border agents it was coming..The Post reported dozens of Americans have been turned back as they try to support Freedom Convoy protesters..“We’ve been on we’ve been trying to get my trucks into Canada … we’ve been trying to get to Ottawa,” Lindell said in a video posted after he was turned back..Lindell donated 10,000 pillows to the victims of the Kentucky tornado disaster last December..Freedom Convoy truckers are now in their third week of protests.
