Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi said the city will be expanding the number of COVID-19 isolation centres in the city..Nenshi told a Thursday news conference the city will soon take a more active role in getting people into the isolation centres, usually at city hotels..Nenshi noted it is very difficult for COVID-19 sufferers to decide to leave their children behind and enter 14 days of isolation..“If you need a place to isolate, we will find you one,” Nenshi vowed..He said the city will be taking “a more active role” in getting people into isolation, a task currently being done by Alberta Health Services officials..“We will have a better system in the next day or two,” he said..The mayor said that the current rooms set aside for isolation are being underused so far..
