Edmonton police are warning the public a repeat sex offender is back on the streets.David Adams, 28, has recently been released from jail after serving time for one count of Fail to Comply with probation conditions from an April 2023 incident where he approached two young females near an elementary school in West Edmonton while driving his vehicle, said Edmonton police Thursday in a press release.It's the second time police have warned the public about Adams. The last warning came in April and saw Adams arrested again a few days later.In February 2023, he was convicted on two counts of indecent acts and was subsequently placed on probation conditions.CTV reported in 2016, Adams was convicted on five counts of child luring and four counts of sexual contact with a child. He's also been convicted for distributing and selling child pornography, criminal harassment and threats to cause death or bodily harm. He was sentenced to more than four years in jail and is also banned from owning firearms for life.Adams is residing in Edmonton and is currently subject to a court order with conditions that include being prohibited from attending any public parks, swimming pools, daycare centers, school grounds or playgrounds. Releasing this information is NOT intended to encourage people to engage in any form of vigilante action," said EPS.During his last crime spree, Adams was driving a BMW X.
