Edmonton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a January shooting in the city’s southeast Walker community that saw gunfire mistakenly directed at the wrong home.The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. on January 16, 2025. Surveillance footage captured a suspect arriving at a townhouse complex near Watt Blvd. and 12 Ave. in what appeared to be a white hatchback. The suspect approached one of the buildings and fired multiple rounds at a unit..Police say the shooting was likely targeted but confirm the wrong townhouse was struck.No injuries were reported.Investigators are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the shooting to contact Edmonton Police at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile device.
