Surrey street racing

Three vehicles have been impounded by Surrey RCMP in an area known for street racing, and the department issued a warning to other lead-foots.

Around 2 a.m. March 26, a vehicle driving faster than 150 km/h ripped past an unmarked police car in a 50 km/h zone of 190 Street.

Surrey RCMP Community Response Unit impounded three vehicles while conducting proactive enforcement in an area well known for street racing.
