Saskatchewan-based photographer Scott Aspinall braved fast-moving, frigid waters under the cover of darkness, canoeing above one of the province’s tallest waterfalls with a single goal: capturing the Milky Way core perfectly aligned over Nistowiak Falls..Scott, a self-taught landscape photographer from Saskatchewan, specializes in night and nature photography across Western Canada, using his craft as a way to connect with the land emotionally, spiritually, and physically, believing that all of nature points to something much greater than himself.
