An Alberta land and development company has been fined $350,000 fine in connection to a workplace death that happened at a resort development site at Gull Lake in 2022, according to the government’s website.The company, Delta Land Co. Inc., pleaded guilty to the incident on June 30, as an employer, “to one count under the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Code for permitting a worker to remain within range of a moving part of powered mobile equipment,” reads the website.Six other counts have been withdrawn by the Crown..Delta Land Co.
