A 23-year-old man has been arrested following a stabbing incident in Wainwright.On Friday, Wainwright RCMP responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the town at 11:54 p.m.Upon arrival, RCMP were informed that two stabbing victims had been taken to hospital with injuries. Both are expected to recover.Both injured victims were members of the Canadian Armed Forces in Wainwright.The suspect has charges pending for two counts of assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.The police confirmed the suspect is not a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, and both he and the victims were not known to each other.The investigation is still ongoing.
