Hollywood actor Tim Robbins, who starred in the 1994 blockbuster Shawshank Redemption, has publicly questioned the trickery transpiring in Canadian politics.
Robbins posted a list of queries pertaining to Prime Minister Mark Carney, a career banker who was selected by a small group of Liberals to replace former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and was never elected by the Canadian people.
“Has Carney ever been elected to Parliament or any other political office?” asked Robbins in an X post on Sunday. He has 102,000 followers.
“Where has he lived for the last ten years? What was his job?”
Robbins questioned if Carney really cares about Canada, or is he is working on behalf of the World Economic Forum to “accomplish what Trudeau couldn’t.”
“If so, how will it benefit Canada to surrender its sovereignty to unelected bureaucrats of the World Economic Forum?” he asked.
“Doesn’t sound very Gordie Howe to me,” said Robbins, referring to the all-time great Canadian hockey star.
Robbins in his tweet reposted a campaign video from Carney with Canadian actor Mike Myers, attempting to appear dialed into Canadian culture — despite neither of them having lived in Canada for at least 10 years — the Canadian prime minister included.
“Canada is Canada. Not a vassal state of the US and not a vassal state of the WEF. Elbows up to both, folks,” wrote Robbins.
