Calgary police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying six male youths believed to be responsible for assaulting a 14-year-old boy at a southwest CTrain station last month.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Monday, March 3, inside the Anderson LRT station, located at 11015 Macleod Trail S.
Police say the teen was approached by a group of six youths who asked about the hoodie he was wearing. When the boy tried to walk away, one of the youths allegedly struck him, sparking a physical altercation.
A bystander called police to report the assault. Officers arrived on scene by approximately 6:08 p.m., but the suspects had already fled. The victim was located and transported to hospital with minor injuries.
After exploring all available investigative avenues, police are now appealing to the public for help in advancing the case. The individuals are believed to be minors.
The first suspect is described as having a light skin tone, brown hair, black-rimmed glasses, a red hoodie, faded and ripped blue jeans, and black running shoes.
The second suspect is tall, with a dark skin tone, wearing a red backpack, black pants, white shoes, a black jacket, a black face covering, and a black head covering.
The third suspect has a dark skin tone, and was seen wearing a black jacket, faded black denim jeans, white shoes, a red Bape backpack with black straps, and a black head covering.
The fourth suspect has a medium skin tone and was wearing a black head covering, a black jacket with a hood, black pants, and black shoes.
The fifth suspect is tall, and was seen wearing a black hoodie and a shiny black down-filled jacket without a hood, faded black denim jeans, grey or white sneakers, and a black backpack.
The sixth suspect was wearing a grey hoodie, black backpack, black pants, and black shoes.
