Calgary police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man found dead earlier this week in the northwest community of Carrington, following an autopsy that has left the cause of death undetermined.
Officers were called to a reported break and enter at a home in the 200 block of Carrington Cres. N.W. at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
When they arrived, they discovered the body of a man inside the residence.
Investigators believe the man entered the home without permission, but his motive remains unclear.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner completed an autopsy on Wednesday, but the circumstances of the man’s death remain undetermined.
His identity is still unknown.
In an effort to move the investigation forward, police have released CCTV images of the man taken shortly before his death, as well as photos of his tattoos. Authorities hope someone will recognize him and help notify his next of kin.
