Transgender Liberal advisor denies biological males have advantages in female sports

A transgendered advisor to the federal Minister of Women claims biological males have no advantage in athletics despite dominating a women's 5 km race,

Nathanielle Morin advises Liberal MP Marci Ien, Minister of Women, Gender Equality and Youth. In a Wednesday post to X, Morin objected to Trump's executive order to ban biological males from competing in women’s and girl’s sports in the United States.

“Under the Trump administration, we will defend the proud tradition of female athletes, and we will not allow men to beat up, injure and cheat our women and our girls,” President Trump said on Wednesday.

As reported by Reduxx. Morin posted that this was tantamount to “exclusion… discrimination… [and] promot[ing] hate.”

The post, which Morin has since restricted from public view, included an infographic by Schuyler Bailar, a trans-identified male who competes in women’s sports. The infographic reads: “Trans athletes are not a threat; transphobia is."

In the infographic, Bailar claims there is “evidence” to support the claim that “trans women are… NOT biological men” and that sex is “bimodal,” not “binary.” Bilar continued, “trans women do not have an advantage and biological diversity is everywhere.”

On X, Morin acknowledged, "I tought [sic] it would be interesting to share as I'm a runner myself. Concerns about fairness in sport needs [sic] to be heard and it's good to have discussions about it. But facts also have to be shown."

Columnist Jonathan Kay replied online, pointing out that Morin makes $140,000 and "is a biologically failed Liberal candidate who 'wins' 5km road races in the female category."

At the 5 km BougeBouge run in February 4, 2024, Morin ran a time of 25:32 the Female 30-39 category, blowing away second place Maude Bisson who ran in 31:16, and third place finisher Marie Beaux at 31:48.

Morin’s time won for “fastest female” across all age categories. Otherwise, Saoirse Hoogenraad, a girl in the 10-12 age category who ran in 26:08, would have had the acclaim. Against men, Morin would have been third in the 30-39 age category and 10th overall.

According to LinkedIn, Morin worked under Minister of Health Jean Yves-Duclos from February 2020 until January 2022. Morin was “working on Canada’s answer to the COVID-19 pandemic" as well as “trans-health issues.”

Morin was favourably profiled by Radio Canada for her diversity, during a run for MP representing the Liberals in the riding of Louis-Saint-Laurent.

“Of the many, Liberal candidate Nathanielle Morin stands out for the uniqueness of her background. A woman and young — she is 28 — she is a rarity in the political arena. A trans woman to boot, although she does not base her campaign on this reality,” wrote Radio Canada reporter Kathleen Lavoie.

Despite this final claim, which Reduxx found dubious given the typical content of Morin's X posts, Lavoie titled the article, "Le message d’inclusion de deux candidates de la diversité."

Morin placed third with 17.5% of the vote, behind Conservative winner Gerard Deltell and second-place Thierry Bilodeau of the Bloc Quebecois.
