WATCH: Saskatchewan man ejected from Mark Carney’s event

A Saskatchewan man was removed Tuesday from Liberal leadership candidate Mark Carney’s event over his online criticism of the former Bank of Canada governor.

Moments after Dallon Leger arrived, a lawyer confronted him about a Facebook post calling Carney a “traitor.”

The lawyer revoked his Liberal Party membership, then notified police, who escorted Leger out for “trespassing.”

Leger, who recently joined the Liberals, said he hoped to engage in party processes but was removed for voicing concerns about Carney’s potential leadership.
