Liberal leader Mark Carney at a Sunday night rally in Victoria, BC, overtly admitted Ontario Progressive Conservative Premier Doug Ford serves at the pleasure of the federal Liberal party.
He then indicated he can’t rely on Alberta Conservative Premier Danielle Smith to do his bidding in the same way.
"We're fighting the Americans in the pocketbook, we have retaliatory tariffs on them, we just hit them again in the auto sector,” Carney told his supporters.
"We're fighting them on Fox News, which is what they understand.”
"We're sending Doug Ford on Fox News to show them we're not messing around up here!" exclaimed Carney to a cheering crowd.
The Liberal leader then added: "And we're going to send Danielle next!"
“No, we won't send Danielle. That's a bad idea. Strike that. Just ignore that," he said as the crowd laughed uproariously.
