The CBC's This Hour Has 22 Minutes recently released a new sketch taking aim at Justin Trudeau.
Actor Chris Wilson, who previously portrayed Pierre Poilievre on the show, plays the prime minister as now-former finance minister Chrystia Freeland helps him with his resumé ahead of yet another non-confidence vote.
The sketch takes place in the prime minister's office, and begins with Trudeau asking Freeland how long he will have to face pushback to his leadership.
"It's time to think about the future," she says, asking him about his resumé, to which he replies, "I don't have one, do you?"
Freeland proceeds to pull out a giant binder full of CVs "for each sector."
"I don't need another job, Chrystia," Trudeau responds. "The Canadian people will come around."
At that point, he opens the window and looks down at the street, where protestors call on him to come down and address them face to face.
"Let's begin writing my resumé," Trudeau says, as Freeland gleefully pulls up a document on her laptop.
The two then go over his employment history, the prime minister listing his previous occupations of snowboard instructor, drama teacher, and prime minister.
When asked what his special skills are, Trudeau says "leadership, decisiveness, [and communicationing " to which Freeland shakes her head in disagreement.
Trudeau then says "nepotism," and when pressed on whether that's really a skill, he adds, "how come it got me all those jobs then?"
"Im just gonna put 'hair' and I'll just bump the font to 24," Freeland replies, adding Loblaws President Galen Weston Jr. as his reference after shutting down Trudeau's idea of writing "the Canadian people."
The sketch was positively received by many, namely those who have long viewed the CBC as being too soft on the Liberals.
"Even though I oppose the CBC, I gotta admit, this is a pretty funny 22 Minutes sketch," Canadian YouTuber J.J. McCullough wrote in a post on X. "The guy who plays Trudeau really does him well."
