Prime Minister Mark Carney drew the biggest crowd he's had yet so far this campaign on Tuesday night, while Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre maintained his momentum, with another staggering turnout in the Atlantic.
About 800 people attended Carney's event in Winnipeg, and about 1,800 supporters showed up to Poilievre's in Borden-Carleton, P.E.I.
Notably, at the Conservative leader's rally in Winnipeg a few days prior, about 3,500 showed up.
Less than 150 have turned up to Carney's events so far, while Poilievre consistently draws between 2,000 and 4,500 people.
Carney took a page out of Poilievre's book (and not speaking of the Liberal leader's tendency to lift Conservatives policies while in campaign mode), and had his wife, Diana Fox Carney, introduce him.
Anaida Poilievre has introduced her husband at each rally since the campaign began. She also accompanies him to most press conferences.
