As part of an anti-fracking protest, demonstrators climbed a ladder and poured molasses over the Gastown Steam Clock in Vancouver..The demonstration was initiated by Vancouver-based Stop Fracking Around, a newly formed group that seeks to cancel the Coastal GasLink Pipeline project and ban the production, transport, and sale of fracked and natural gas in Canada..Group member Sophia Papp was one of the members who climbed the 14 ft. ladder and poured molasses out of a jerrycan while another member can be heard saying the "sweet smelling" action represents oil and gas..“Natural gas is a climate killer.
