A Canadian woman wanted by Swiss authorities for a botched murder-for-hire plot has been arrested at the Frankfurt Airport in Germany on an international arrest warrant.The German Federal Police say the unnamed woman allegedly paid three people to murder her ex-partner in 2018.The man survived the machete attack but was seriously injured.After the botched attempt, the woman went on the run.Police said the unnamed woman, who was caught on July 4, arriving from a flight originating in Toronto, is now in custody and awaiting extradition to Switzerland.If convicted, the 49-year-old faces life imprisonment under Swiss law.More to come....
