After Trudeau rejected the idea of Canada joining the U.S., where he pointed out the benefits of their existing trade and security partnership.
Musk replied with a mocking tweet, stating, "Girl, you're not the governor of Canada anymore, so it doesn't matter what you say."
The exchange drew attention for Musk's mischaracterization of Trudeau as “governor,” when he is still the Prime Minister.
