Triple murderer Mohamad Al Ballouz, who now identifies as a woman named Levana, may be heading to a women's prison.

A Quebec Superior Court judge recently sentenced him to life for the "sadistic" 2022 killings of his wife, Synthia Bussières, and their two sons, five-year-old Eliam and two-year-old Zac. He was also convicted of arson for torching the family condo.

"The evidence shows that the accused shows no remorse, no empathy," Justice Eric Downs said, per the Canadian Press, labelling him a "deeply narcissistic person."

Downs argued that it was "impossible to envisage medium to long-term rehabilitation and mitigation to the risk of recidivism."

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre spoke out about the case on X, calling it "surreal" that "a man who killed his wife and two kids now claims he is a woman to go to a female prison."

"I can't believe I have to say this," he added, "but when I'm PM, there will be no male prisoners in female jails."

Bussières, 38, was stabbed 23 times. The children were then murdered before Al Ballouz ingested windshield wiper fluid. An autopsy was not able to establish the exact cause of the boys’ deaths.

Al Ballouz said he wants to serve his time at the Joliette Institution for Women — depending on the approval of Correctional Service Canada.

Courts and media are now using female pronouns. It was reported that in the prisoner's box, Al Ballouz wore a wig and had manicured red nails.
