Just when you thought Canadian politics couldn’t get stranger or more sordid, the federal NDP has gone tits-up in a bizarre spectacle.
Federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh has appeared in a promotional video with self-described OnlyFans pornography creator Jessica Wetz. The two had a stimulating conversation about boycotting Israel.
It is unknown when the video was made.
"(We) should not be selling or buying from a country, especially a Netanyahu government that violates human rights," said Singh.
"We should be sanctioning those that are involved in these war crimes."
On her X account in November, Wetz said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu needs to be in jail.
"He should’ve been banned from Canada a year ago," she said. "Grateful Trudeau is following international law."
In her conversation with Singh, she added, "The censorship going on right now with Palestinian voices is unbelievable, and we need to get out there and have our voices heard as Canadians, because we have the privilege of being able to, like, vote and really have a say in this."
OnlyFans is a subscription-based social media platform launched in 2016, where creators can earn money by sharing content with their subscribers, or “fans.”
It’s primarily known for allowing creators to post a wide range of material — everything from fitness tutorials and cooking videos to music and art — but it gained widespread attention due to its popularity among pornography entertainers.
