OK, the Trump tariff dump is in the rearview mirror, and we have a better idea of what to expect.
So, it’s time to put the Canadian federal election back in the headlines and what we can expect from that, as we navigate the hallways of promises, exaggerations and, too often, pure BS.
Earlier this year, the polls showed the Liberal Party’s popularity and numbers plummeting, due obviously to the plunging popularity of Justin Trudeau.
When Mark Carney was anointed leader by the Liberal Party cult members, the party's numbers improved and, depending on which poll you look at, the Lib cult and the Conservative Party of Canada, under the leadership of Pierre Poilievre, are within single digits of each other.
Carney kicked off his campaign with the slogan, ‘Canadians want change’ suggesting, if legitimately elected prime minister in a general election, not just sycophants in the Liberal Party cult, but by Canadians, at the ballot box, he will bring change.
What a load of crap.
Obviously, the Liberal cult’s polling numbers changed with the change of leader, but let’s be clear, that’s all that changed.
Well, OK, maybe there is one other thing that changed, in a convoluted manner.
Carney says he has cancelled the carbon tax, but he hasn’t. He’s only hung that stone around the necks of corporations, which will hike their prices and pass them along to Canadian consumers. The biggest change is Canadians will no longer receive their carbon tax rebate cheques.
Mark Carney has no intention of changing the way he governed the country behind the scenes.
He was Justin Trudeau’s puppet master for all nine years of Trudeau’s ruinous reign, engineering every piece of legislation and every piece of propaganda that rolled out of Trudeau’s office, including implementation of the War Measures (Emergencies) Act and freezing Canadians’ bank accounts.
Carney will guide the Liberal cult, dragging the rest of Canada with them, down the road he paved, with Trudeau in tow, to globalist socialism, knowing cult members, seemingly hypnotized, will play follow the leader, as they always do, regardless of where the leader is taking them.
Carney will take them into the waiting arms of the World Economic Forum (WEF), kneeling at the feet of Klaus Schwab, for however much longer Schwab remains executive chairman of WEF.
None of the legislation nor propaganda that Carney introduced, through Trudeau, will change.
Carney said, in English, the ‘no more pipelines bill’ (Bill C-69) will be changed. In French, he said it won’t. Climate emergencies, similar to the War Measures Act, will be declared, with Carney’s one hand on the national thermostat and the other on Canadians’ credit and debit cards.
Every bit of wokeness and DEI forced on the Canadian military will remain in place. Expect even more of Canada’s history to be erased.
The US tariffs were the No. 1 election issue for only a short while, coming at a convenient time for Carney to divert attention from the miserable job the Liberal government has done over the last decade in power. In terms of going forward with the US, Carney said, "The system of global trade anchored on the United States...is over. Our old relationship of steadily deepening integration with the United States is over.”
Whether or not US President Donald Trump will react to that is to be seen, if Carney and his warmed-over Trudeau crew get elected.
Regardless, it won’t be a matter of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic for Carney. It will be more like backing up that majestic ship and taking another run at the iceberg to see if anything changes.
It won’t.
