The National Citizens Inquiry is holding hearings in Edmonton Thursday through Saturday to answer the question, “Are children safe in Canada?”Witnesses will testify on child trafficking, food and water safety, SOGI and school curriculum, disintegration of the family unit, parental rights, education, children’s health, economic impacts on children, social behaviors of today’s youth, effects of the government’s response to COVID-19 effects of social media and technology and medical concerns.The hearings are being held at the Church of the Vine at 12345 149 St. Those who want to attend in person can register their intended attendance for sessions that run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.The National Citizens Inquiry (NCI) was formed in July 2022 with the vision of holding independent citizen-led, citizen-funded inquiries. The purpose of the 2023 inquiry was to examine the impact of the government’s response to COVID and to make recommendations concerning how things could be done better in the future.Witnesses for Thursday March 6 include Dr. David Martin at 10:00, Dr. Wanda Polzin Holman at 2:25, John Carpay at 3:25, Drew Barnes at 4:35, Dr. Heather Herington at 5:20 and Alex Schadenberg at 5:50. Dr. Karyn Healy is also expected to testify sometime during the day.A livestream will be available on Rumble and on the NCI website.Molecular biologist Dr. David Speicher will speak on Friday March 7. He recently confirmed the adulteration of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 modRNA vaccines by showing high level of plasmid DNA and the presence of the SV40 promoter and enhancer.Dr. Kelli Palfi will also testify on Friday, as will Jessica Rose, and Dr. Chris Shoemaker.On Saturday, Dr. Robert Chandler, Dr. William Makis, and Dr. Mark Trozzi will testify.In opening comments on Thursday, NCI lead counsel Shawn Buckley said some witnesses originally slated backed out, usually for fears or professional repercussions. One could not testify due to a court order. Buckley also complained the NCI livestream was being blocked on Twitter (“X”) for unknown reasons.In 2023, the NCI held 24 days of hearings in 8 cities across Canada – Truro NS, Toronto ON, Winnipeg MB, Saskatoon SK, Red Deer AB, Vancouver BC, Quebec City QC and Ottawa ON. In the spring of 2024, the NCI held 3 days of hearings in Regina SK.
