The Alberta Christian Municipality Rally (ACMR) kicks off its Alberta-wide tour in Westlock Saturday evening at 5 p.m., with a stacked list of speakers including MP Arnold Viersen, CHP Leader Rod Taylor and MLA Glenn van Dijken.
The summer tour, led by "Canada’s Political Missionary” and Christian Impact Network Executive Director Michael Clark and hosted by Christians That Care, is for current and aspiring public servants to gather together in community and learn how to integrate their faith into their political careers.
Clark on Saturday morning released a statement to the Western Standard introducing the evening’s Westlock event and the opening of the tour.
“Good morning to all my new Alberta friends,” wrote Clark.
“Tonight, in Westlock, AB at 5:00 p.m., the ‘Alberta Christian Municipal Rally’ kicks off. Come — let us seek the LORD together for the future of Alberta!”
The statement refers to what Clark described Thursday on Hannaford as a commitment to 2 Chronicles 7:14: If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Clark announced a “Christian ‘All-Star’ team has assembled to challenge you like you've NEVER been challenged before.”

The ACMR tour will visit multiple communities across Alberta, including Calgary, Red Deer, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Edmonton, Alder Flats, Drayton Valley, Lloydminster, Ponoka, Sherwood Park and Grande Prairie.
“This isn’t a traditional political tour — it’s a Kingdom movement to pray, equip and raise up godly leaders who will govern under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and restore righteousness across our land," said Clark.
