Not a single question from these courageous scribes about why the government could vote one week ago to keep enforcing these regulations and then suddenly find a reason to change course. .No, after Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos suddenly announced that two vaccinations was no longer enough to be considered “fully vaccinated,” all the questions focused on that..Incredibly, Duclos didn’t even try to explain why his government suddenly had a Damascus Road moment on the travel restrictions, moving instead to the work of Chief Public Health Officer Theresa Tam, a bureaucrat who has often parroted the propaganda lines of Communist China and whom I would love to see enjoy an early retirement. .“What we also know from Dr. Tam and every other expert on COVID-19 is, although two doses still protect significantly well against severe disease and death, two doses are not enough now to protect against infection and transmission,” said Duclos..Dr. Tam has about as much credibility as her counterpart in the United States, Dr. Anthony Fauci, a man who has contradicted himself so many times on the coronavirus that he’s lost count..I know, you would think the journalists would have focused on just why in hell the government would now be demanding another jab from Canadians – especially on the same day as they are lifting restrictions on people who haven’t gotten any vaccination at all. .But no, the journalists wanted to know when this new policy would begin. Shouldn’t it start like immediately? I thought these people are either paid propagandists or dumber than a bag of hammers. .I will say that my old friend Don Martin had a spark of his old Calgary Herald flame when he opined about Trudeau this week: ."He’s too woke, too precious, preachy in tone, exceedingly smug, lacking in leadership, fading in celebrity, slow to act, short-sighted in vision and generally getting more irritating with every breathlessly whispered public pronouncement. The stick is the seal of good approval that the government bestows on media outlets that report approvingly..So federal government officials get a free ride and softball questions..You’ve got the health minister sitting there in front of you, he’s jabbering on about how the decision to remove the restrictions has something to do with “the science” but is making absolutely no sense and he knows it but you’re reinforcing his gibberish about telling people to get another dose of this vaccine. Duclos by the way just had COVID-19: another vaccine success story, like his prime minister who was isolating that day as he battled another bout of the COVID..There was all something particularly suspicious about this setup..But didn’t we just say that the government would take this direction after CTV ran a completely ridiculous story sourced by one “expert” at the University of Toronto and a report from a Chinese Communist Hong Kong University that three shots were now necessary in order to be considered fully vaccinated? That’s all this government needed to conclude that it was time to move forward with another wave of vaccinations..But do you think people are going to be compliant time after time? I doubt it very much. You can only create a crisis environment for so long before people look for an end and there needs to be an end. It is time to live with COVID like we live with the cold and flu. There is enough evidence that this vaccine has serious side effects and people should not be taking it twice a year for the rest of their lives. .Truckers remain shackled by vaccine mandates. They still have to quarantine for 14 days after crossing the border and you can bet that will continue to create a massive supply chain problem but Prime Minister Justin Trudeau isn’t concerned about that. He can blame that on Russian President Vladimir Putin and the war in Ukraine. Nobody will notice the difference. .The most ominous thing about the “pandemic” is that Trudeau can withdraw it from his bag of authoritarian tricks at any time and declare another state of emergency that necessitates more loss of freedom. He’s got a good thing going here and he knows it. The Democrats in the U.S. have used the pandemic quite effectively to disrupt and corrupt the voting process and it is quite certain that Trudeau is assessing how this might work in Canada. The elites never took any of this social distancing and masking seriously; it was always something the masses should do but the lockdown kings and queens routinely and flagrantly violated their own rules because they live in their own world. .Trudeau calls it “the science.” It nothing more than “the politics” or “the game.”
