And it sends an ominous warning to our own Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who, if he had been trained for anything but performing in blackface, might have made an ideal failure as a crown attorney in any liberal Canadian city..Boudin was blaming rich Republicans. The problem with that is that most of the rich people in San Francisco are Democrats. U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her husband Paul — just arrested for DUI — are two of them. You can’t find a lot of GOP supporters in the city and that has been the case for decades. Up until he went down to defeat with only 39% support, Boudin was insisting there was a last minute groundswell of support coming his way and the people were coming to rescue him from the elites. .Anyone following U.S. politics should know the elites are mostly in the Democratic camp and you can’t win recall votes or elections with just their support..Why did Boudin lose and why does it not portend well for Trudeau? Well even in liberal San Francisco, voters were dead tired of watching a DA routinely put criminals back on the streets after committing crimes. Boudin virtually rewrote the penal code so that it mirrored his own woke mentality. Lifestyle crimes were no crimes. Hence, shoplifting became a hobby not a felony and people would routinely walk into stores, load up with merchandise, walk past the cash register and carry everything home. Stores were closing because they couldn’t afford to operate under these conditions..If you haven’t been to San Francisco lately, you won’t recognize it. The city is overwhelmed with homelessness, drug addiction and people relieving themselves in public. The jewel of the Pacific coast has become a blight on the coastline..It hasn’t just been theft either. Violent crime is surging and homicides are going through the roof in a city with very strict gun laws. That’s the funny thing: all of the Democratic-held cities with the tough gun laws have the highest crime and the most prevalent gun violence. Why? The criminals still have their guns and they get of jail very easily and become repeat offenders..Which leads us to Trudeau. Our prime minister loves to insert himself into American politics. When a potential U.S. Supreme Court ruling to overturn the landmark abortion ruling of Roe V. Wade was leaked to the media, Trudeau was in front of the cameras as quick as you could say “reproductive rights” to proclaim that America’s highest court would not be affecting Canada’s pusillanimous abortion law that guarantees the death of any infant from conception to birth. .Then after the mass shooting in Buffalo, NY, Trudeau again decided he had to intervene and announced a freeze on handgun purchases. That will do so much for the people in Zainesville, OH. .The problem is Trudeau, who apparently also learned a bit of parlor magic at the same time he mastered blackface, is doing a bit of sleight of hand here. Because while he’s telling Canadians that they can’t protect themselves from dangerous, gun-toting thugs, those gun-toting things won’t be hampered by mandatory minimum sentencing as his bankrupt government shoves through Bill C-5, legislation that eliminates mandatory minimum sentence for several serious gun crimes. Trudeau explained mandatory minimums are bad because they only target people of color and the indigenous. Oh, I see. Thank you for the explanation..So Trudeau really isn’t concerned about your safety and security. He merely wants to ensure you don’t have a gun in your house. And as more people try to buy a gun before the freeze comes into effect — and believe me it isn’t easy to do so — Trudeau will inevitably ban all handguns and probably place huge restrictions on all long guns too..But the good people of San Francisco have caught on to this game and on Tuesday they made their remonstrances known to the gutless DA who quite frankly doesn’t give a damn about the victims of crime, but cares a lot about keeping scum on the streets..It is well known international funnyman George Soros has been bankrolling DA elections across America: he assisted Boudin and other friends of crime in Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Chicago. But thank God, there is something called democracy still alive in the United States and these clowns can be recalled..There is no doubt Trudeau is aware of the recall result. Whether he or his staff were watching the news last night after the Summit of the Americas, Trudeau has, as we have noted, shown a keen interest in all news American and is quick to react to anything he assesses to be of political value..This latest bit of human events will not serve Trudeau’s purposes very well and he will undoubtedly seek to ignore its implications for his government and maintain his insouciant manner. .But if San Francisco can fathom the emperor wears no clothes and gun control laws are useless devices when criminals have all the rights, then Justin has much to worry about.
