Conservative activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated at Utah Valley University Wednesday. He was shot in the neck.He was 31-years-old, married with two little girls.Authorities in Utah said a "person of interest" is in custody.President Donald Trump broke the news on X."The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. Students and attendees evacuated the area as emergency personnel arrived on scene.Political leaders, including U.S. Senator Mike Lee of Utah, issued statements expressing concern and calling for prayers.The motive behind the shooting remains unclear.
