There are still no answers after numerous unidentified aerial vehicles were spotted across the eastern U.S. over the last several weeks. At least one of the objects was said to be the size of a bus — and flying low. Some witnesses said the objects looked like airplanes with unusual lighting — but they did not fly or move like conventional aircraft or helicopters. It is said that some of the mysterious activity took place near military installations and that some objects were airborne for six to 10 hours. Several of the objects left comet-like trails in the sky.Washington Township, New Jersey, Mayor Matthew Murello told Good Morning America on Monday he thinks "something's going on," expressing fear over the lack of answers from the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and the White House. "I'm not trying to stir anything up, but we all know — if you just turn on the television — that drones can be used in an aggressive fashion," said Murello. "They can carry payloads. They can be used for all kinds of really aggressive-type things."White House national security communications adviser John Kirby said Thursday that many of the aerial vehicles look like manned aircraft, noting there was "no evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security or a public safety threat, or have a foreign nexus."President-elect Donald Trump posted to X, “Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge? I don’t think so. Let the public know, and now. Otherwise, shoot them down.”
