Elon Musk and JK Rowling have joined British activist Tommy Robinson on a quest for government accountability over an alleged coverup of Muslim child grooming and rape gangs that have operated across the U.K. for years.
Robinson spearheaded the rape gang truth movement — and is now in prison — solitary confinement — for a "flagrant" breach of a court order related to a series of events involving his refusal to remain silent on several issues.
Robinson, who says thousands of girls were victimized, has been imprisoned multiple times on his crusade.
"There already should have been a revolution in this country over the rape and prostitution, torture and murder of our daughters — not just the fact that the Islamic gangs done it," said a recent post on Robinson's X account.
"The fact that our politicians knew about it. They covered it up."
Robinson, who has been called a far-right racist and conspiracy theorist, alleges an "unholy alliance" between government and media, asserting there's a concerted effort to silence the truth about rape gangs, child grooming and other issues involving immigration and "Islamic extremism."
Some in the U.K. allege politicians refuse to take action for reasons of vote getting and political correctness.
"Our entire police forces across the country were paralyzed with fear to allow the rape of a generation of our daughters," said a post on Robinson's X account.
“That’s the problem they view 11 year old kids as young ladies, they’re children."
Musk, who called Robinson a political prisoner that should be released, criticized current U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer for his tenure as head of the Crown Prosecution Service, suggesting failures in prosecuting the crimes during that period.
"In the UK, serious crimes such as rape require the Crown Prosecution Service's approval for the police to charge suspects," said Musk on X.
"Who was the head of the CPS when rape gangs were allowed to exploit young girls without facing justice? Keir Starmer, 2008-2013."
The U.K. has threatened to arrest Musk due to his posts on X during a period of civil unrest in the country involving the terrorist murders of young girls at a U.K. Taylor Swift dance class.
Many U.K. citizens were jailed for social media posts that called out Muslim immigration and Islamic extremism after the event.
Pundits say blaming Muslims as a whole for U.K. rape gangs oversimplifies a complex issue. The problem, they say, involves a combination of individual criminal behaviour, systemic failures, cultural attitudes within specific segments of society, and a broad socio-economic context.
"The details emerging about what the rape gangs — why call them 'grooming' gangs? It's like calling those who stab people to death 'knife owners' did to girls in Rotherham are downright horrific," said Rowling on X.
While there has been a notable pattern involving some British-Pakistani men, this does not justify attributing the crime to all Muslims or even all members of the British-Pakistani community, say analysts.
In the year ending December 2023, approximately 532,000 people left the U.K. This included 98,000 British citizens, 202,000 EU citizens, and 233,000 non-EU citizens.
