President Donald Trump said that Israeli intelligence confirmed last weekend's strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities achieved "total obliteration" of their targets.Speaking at the NATO summit in The Hague, Trump disputed media reports that questioned the effectiveness of the strikes. The IAEC said the strikes "set back Iran's ability to develop nuclear weapons by many years."At the summit, a reporter asked Trump about Iranian officials who said their country would continue enriching uranium and pursuing nuclear weapons. Trump said he had not heard those comments."The last thing they want to do is enrich anything right now; they want to recover," said Trump. Trump added that Iran agreed to a ceasefire after recent conflicts.Trump warned that the United States would not allow Iran to restart its nuclear program. ."We won't let that happen, number one, militarily we won't," said Trump.Trump suggested the relationship between the US and Iran might improve. "I think we'll end up having somewhat of a relationship with Iran," said Trump, pointing out that both sides called for an end to recent fighting.Trump dismissed the possibility that Iran would resume nuclear weapons development after the strikes.
