Shocking video surfaced on Wednesday of a New York street overrun with rogue entrepreneurs allegedly selling counterfeit goods."Nope, this isn’t another country, this is the once beautiful New York City that has become riddled with illegal immigrants evading taxes and selling counterfeit merchandise," said American political pundit Rich Castaldo in a tweet. "This is what NYC has become under Democrat rule. Terrible."Over 210,000 asylum seekers have entered in New York City since 2022, many from Latin America and the Caribbean, although many come from Africa and China. The video was taken by social media influencer Jacqueline Toboroff and re–tweeted by Castaldo.Toboroff provided narration, saying:"You're looking at some of the most expensive zip codes in the world. This is Tribeca and Soho, which has been completely consumed by illegal immigrants selling counterfeit goods, which, coincidentally, cost the global economy $500 billion a year.""But this is what Utopia looks like to Democrats, thanks to one party, Democrat rule here in New York City."Toboroff accused New York City Mayor Eric Adams and New York city council of encouraging lawlessness. The average cost of an apartment in Tribeca is $3.95 million, while the median cost of an apartment in Soho is $4.25 million."There are no environmentalists here complaining about the litter," said Toboroff. "It's very difficult to walk, and these (storefront) businesses here actually have to report to the IRS, but not the illegal immigrants selling counterfeiting. Good taxpayers get screwed every which way."
