Carla Crotty says she's been called many names this week, but being mislabeled as a CBC journalist is a first. However, the freelance writer from Conception Bay South in Newfoundland does have work published by CBCNL..On Wednesday, The Real Andy Lee Show on Twitter said Crotty was a CBC journalist openly promoting for Antifa to harass James Topp and his crew at his scheduled meet and greet in Gander, Newfoundland.."In 2015, CBC posted four blogs I wrote about quitting smoking," Crotty told the Western Standard about her time at CBC.."I’m not a journalist, as I’m sure you’re well aware, and they most certainly don’t employ me. I’m not even a freelance writer. I am one of dozens of NLers who is sick of Dana, the convoy and the BS that comes with them.".Crotty claimed Andy Lee has done nothing but "post inaccurate information and made herself look more idiotic than she already looks.".Crotty said she had no intention on interfering with the march nor is she part of antifa.."There is no antifa. How long have I been anti convoy? Since it started in January. I have been out of the province for the last month. Got home last night. Haven’t even seen the march," Crotty said..However, Crotty said that her and a bunch of friends made comments online claiming to be "antifa agents.".The Real Andy Lee Show then commented on how Crotty retweeted Antifa Newfoundland, which was threatening the march and the venues..“Call the town hall. Classy," The Real Andy Lee Show said.."I’m not sure harassing a peaceful march and your local town hall is the big win you think it is," Andy Lee replied to a tweet by Crotty.."I’m going to be filing a complaint with @CBCNews," Andy Lee said..However, that complaint may not go far because Crotty is currently not employed by CBCNL.
