He who laughs last, laughs loudest.A Fort Macleod man wanted on outstanding warrants was arrested after RCMP received a public tip that led officers to a residence in Granum.Members of the RCMP Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit, supported by the Emergency Response Team, executed a warrant at the location and took 29-year-old Camron Rasmussen into custody without incident on May 20..Rasmussen had been publicly listed as wanted by RCMP on April 23. In an unusual twist, he responded to his own wanted post on social media with a comment reading “Booo” followed by a ghost emoji. Authorities say “what was once a ghosting, is now a reality.”In addition to his existing warrants, Rasmussen now faces several new charges: failing to comply with a probation order, possession of fentanyl, and possession of methamphetamine.Following a Judicial Interim Hearing, Rasmussen was remanded into custody. He is scheduled to appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Fort Macleod on Wednesday.
