The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is investigating a death that took place over the weekend in central Edmonton. On Saturday, at 8:38 p.m., police were called to assist EMS at a multi-unit residence in the area of 91 St. and Jasper Ave. It was reported to police that a 3-year-old female was found deceased inside in a suite.Due to suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, EPS Homicide Section has assumed the investigation. An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday.
