The race to become Alberta's 19th premier is going to a fifth ballot after none of the seven candidates reached 50% support on the on the third..The leader after the fourth ballot was counted was Danielle Smith with 46.2%. Travis Toews was second with 31.9%, Brian Jean was third with 13.5%, Rebecca Schulz was fourth with 8.4%..Schulz has been dropped for the fourth ballot..The leader after the third ballot were counted was Danielle Smith with 41.7%. Travis Toews was second with 30.4%, Brian Jean was third with 12.1%, Rebecca Schulz was fourth with 8%, Todd Loewen came last with 7.8%..The leader after the second ballot were counted was Danielle Smith with 41.4%. Travis Toews was second with 29.7%, Brian Jean was third with 11.3%, Todd Loewen came third with 7.7%, Rebecca Schulz was fifth with 7.3%, Rajan Sawhney trailed the pack with 2.7%.Sawhney is now dropped for the third ballot..The leader after the first ballots were counted was Danielle Smith with 41.3%.
