A 68-year-old Calgary man is facing voyeurism charges after police say he secretly recorded women who stayed at his southwest home over a nine-year period.Police allege that between 2016 and 2025, Brad Dewar, 68, met women through his role at a local church and offered them short-term lodging, then recorded them without their knowledge.The investigation began in Nov. 2024, when police were alerted to intimate photos and videos of women found on the homeowner’s tablet.On Mar. 4, 2025, officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of Westwood Drive SW Multiple electronic devices were seized, containing approximately 1,500 photos and 19 videos of an intimate nature. Investigators believe at least three women were victimized.Dewar has been charged with three counts of voyeurism and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 22, 2025.Police ask anyone with information about this investigation to call them at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
