The Calgary Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man believed to be responsible for a random assault at the Marlborough CTrain Station last month.On Friday, July 11, 2025, at around 4:25 p.m., a man standing on the platform at the Marlborough CTrain Station (889 36 St. NE) was approached from behind and assaulted. The victim fell to the ground, briefly lost consciousness, and the suspect fled.Police say the victim and the suspect did not know each other and had no prior contact. The victim was taken to hospital in stable condition and has since been released. Investigators believe the attack was random.The suspect is described as a man approximately 5’9” tall, weighing 170 pounds, with a slim build, blond hair, and darker facial hair. He has tattoos on both arms and his left leg.Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity is asked to call police at 403-266-1234.
