The Calgary Stampeders said it will be collecting turkeys and non-perishable food items for the Airdrie Food Bank on Saturday. .The event continues the holiday tradition established by former Stampeders player and coach Corey Mace, according to a Thursday blog post. The blog post said Mace organized the turkey drive to help the Airdrie Food Bank and various Calgary charities. .People can drop off turkeys and non-perishable food items in the east parking lot at McMahon Stadium from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. The items will be delivered to the food bank soon after. .Various Stampeders players will be around to meet with people and sign autographs. .Stampeders defensive back Tre Roberson and fullback Charlie Power will be present from 10 a.m. to noon.
