Police in Coquitlam have apprehended a man suspected of committing a series of sexual assaults all over town.He was taken into custody on Sunday, but has since been released back into the community "on conditions."According to the Coquitlam RCMP, nine incidents are reported to have taken place, with five occurring between 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesday December 4 and Thursday December 5 in Burquitlam. Two more took place on Friday, December 6 in Glen Park at 1158 Pipeline Road. The date and location of the final two have not been revealed.The identity of the suspect, who "fled on foot" after each assault, has not yet been released, though he was previously described as a "light skinned male, 20 to 30 years old, with a "slim to medium build.""We are committed to ensuring the safety of our community," Sgt. Karrie Ellis said. "Public safety is our top priority and we will dedicate any needed resources to protect our residents from harm and bring those responsible before the courts."
