The Saskatchewan Coroners Service (SCS) announced an inquest will be held for the 11 people who died on the James Smith Cree Nation (JSCN) and Weldon, SK..On September 4, brothers Myles and Damien Sanderson went on a mass stabbing rampage, killing 10 and injuring 18 more people..The SCS expects to start the inquest in late spring to early summer 2023. .The inquest cannot start until the police and SCS investigations are completed..
