The family of a 16-year-old Calgary boy killed in the city’s Abbeydale neighbourhood last week is pleading for help in identifying his killer, as police continue to investigate the murder.Carter Spivak-Villeneuve was found dead around 1:20 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, in the 300 block of Abergale Dr. N.E., after emergency crews responded to a report of a person in medical distress.While homicide investigators have gathered evidence and reviewed surveillance footage, Calgary police say several residents may have been away for the long weekend and could hold key information. Officers are specifically seeking dashcam or CCTV footage from the area between midnight and 1:30 a.m. that day.“We know there are people out there who have information,” said Staff Sgt. Sean Gregson of the Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit. .“Whether it’s something they saw, heard, or came across online, we’re urging them to come forward.
