Calgary Flames games are close to returning to normal after Alberta Premier Jason Kenney’s announcement that vaccine passports are no longer required in Alberta as of Wednesday..Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation (CSEC) said it’s encouraged by Tuesday’s announcement from the Alberta government and the impact lifted restrictions will have on events held at the Scotiabank Saddledome..Beginning Wednesday “with the Flames game versus the Vegas Golden Knights, there will be a full return of food and beverage services for all patrons,” said CSEC in a statement..“In addition, we will no longer require our patrons to provide proof of vaccination with the elimination of the Restrictions Exemption Program..“Capacity limitations will remain at 50% through the end of February and masks will be required for all patrons while not actively eating or drinking (children 12 and under are exempt from masks as of February 14th).”.CSEC said it will advise ticket holders for upcoming events directly..Melanie Risdon is a reporter with the Western Standard.,.mrisdon@westernstandardonline.com
