Ontario Premier Doug Ford's MAGA-esque ball cap that states, "Canada is not for sale," was apparently sourced from Southeast Asia. The website promoted by Ford in one of his tweets states the blank hat is "sourced from Vietnam or Bangladesh."Ford this past week had kept the manufacturer of his chapeau under his hat when pressed on the issue by the Western Standard.Ford acquired the "fantastic hat" from Ottawa-based Jackpine Dynamic Branding. ."I was proud to wear it this morning to deliver the message that we need to put country first," wrote Ford on social media Wednesday."Everyday Canadians are stepping up, united and proud.
