It really wasn't a fair race.

The mounted patrol of the Jacksonville Sheriffs office in Florida, was called into action this week when 25-year-old Jordan Wilson tried to hoof it after handing off illegal drugs.

Police Service Horse Nash, with Officer Cassie Haire in the saddle, galloped into action, proving that criminals can run, but they can’t hide fromhorsepower!

After a quarter-mile chase, Wilson decided to rein it in and surrender to Officer Zackary Maryland.

The Mounted Unit doesn’t just horse around when it comes to crime!
